Your Old Modem May Not Be Up To SPEED!

Advancements in technology have made some old model modems obsolete!

As we continue to update your services, equipment changes can make a huge impact on the performance of your services. Our records indicate that you are accessing the internet through an older modem. Midcontinent Communications’ MidcoNet® Broadband service is regularly upgraded to keep ahead of the demands of our MidcoNet® customers. Some of these older modems cannot keep up with the new large bandwidths we’re providing customers. Advances in cable modem technology allow you to fully experience blazing fast speeds! If you have an older model cable modem, you may not be experiencing the MidcoNet® Internet speeds that you should.

For a limited time, customers who have purchased an older model modem can upgrade to a brand new cable modem for only $35 (Regular Price $69).* This is a limited time offer to help insure that you’re experiencing the best service possible now and in the future.

The following modems qualify for this program:

*To qualify for the modem purchase or modem replacement, you must be a current MidcoNet® customer with a qualifying cable modem model. We ask that you come to a near-by Customer Service Center to exchange your old modem. Please click here for a location nearest you. Certain restrictions apply, Internet speed depends on several things, ranging from the location of the website you’re looking at, the number of people accessing a site and even your own computer’s memory capacity. Whether or not your computer s infected with a “adware” or “spyware” will also slow you down, making virus protection and a firewall very important.
