Changing POP mail account in Outlook Express
- Open Outlook Express
- From the Tools menu select Accounts

- The first thing you will need to do, is remove your mail account
- From the Accounts window, click on the mail tab to show your mail accounts
- Highlight your mail account, and select remove.(It may just be listed as mail.)

- If you are not sure which mail account is your account, highlight the account, and click properties
- Once the old e-mail account has been removed, you are ready to add your new mail account
- To add your new e-mail account, select Add

- Then select Mail on the side menu that pops up
- This will bring you to the Internet Connection Wizard

- Enter your display name. (How you want your name to appear to mail recipient)
- Click Next

- Click on the selection I already have an e-mail that I'd like to use
- Enter your new e-mail address in the open field. (This was provided to you on a mailer we sent out.)
- Click Next

- This will bring you to the E-mail Server Names window
- Make sure that POP3 is selected in the top field
- In the incoming mail server field type: pop.midco.net
- In the outgoing mail server field type: smtp.midco.net
- Click Next
- In the Internet Mail Logon window, you will need to enter your account name
- In the Account Name field, enter your e-mail address.(i.e. johnsmith@sio.midco.net)
- In the Password field enter your password that you were provided
- Check the box in front of Remember Password, or you will need to enter the password each time you check your mail
- Click Next

- Congratulations, you have set up your new mail account
- Click Finish
- This will bring you back to the Accounts window, and your new mail account will show up
- Close the window, and your ready to send and receive e-mail
