Giving Back
The Midcontinent Media Foundation, established in 1987, is the charitable arm of the Midcontinent family of companies. To date, the Foundation has contributed over two million dollars to promote social betterment within communities throughout the Midcontinent service area. While requests to support the normal operations of organizations are generally discouraged, Midcontinent prefers special projects such as:
- Important health and human social-service causes, including medical research and early childhood development programs, as well as services for the elderly and the disabled.
- Special capital projects, to obtain equipment and fund building improvements for schools, youth athletics, parks, emergency responders and community organizations.
- Major community appeals, for new local facilities for the arts, recreation and other community uses.
Non-profit organizations are encouraged to contact Midcontinent to apply for future grants.
Spring Grant Request Deadline is: FEBRUARY 10, 2010
