High Definition Cameras

Our producers use professional, broadcast quality Sony HD cameras, shooting directly onto HD digital discs.

Equipment:

  • Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere non-linear editing systems
  • Sony FS700, Sony XDCAM and Sony PMW-EX3 cameras that shoot 1080 HD video

Our team also uses the latest versions of Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects to add high-end graphics in 2D and 3D space. A wide variety of cinematography equipment including lighting, jib, dolly and green screen are used to create out-of-the ordinary perspectives.


Incoming Commercial Delivery
We accept pre-produced tapes at our Sioux Falls office as well as digital files sent via FTP.


Tape Stock
Digital files are preferred but we do accept Beta SP also.

Traffic Instructions
Fax or send traffic instructions to your Account Executive.

 

FTP Instructions

Preferred Quicktime sequence: slate, 2 seconds of black, exactly 30 or 60 seconds of video, followed by 2 seconds of black.

 

H.264 QuickTime settings for exporting commercials from NLE system: Please alert your Midcontinent Ad Sales Representative when the upload is complete so receipt and quality can be verified.

Note: When down converting an HD commercial for air on a SD channel we will be center-cutting the commercial.
