Midcontinent Launches D3 in Mitchell and Watertown Posted on February 15, 2010
Sioux Falls, SD February 15, 2010 --- Midcontinent Communications has announced the launch of DOCSIS 3.0  (D3) technology in Mitchell and Watertown, SD. This also includes the following areas: Big Stone City, Mitchell, Milbank, Watertown, Grant County and Ortonville and Big Stone County in Minnesota.   This technology will allow up to 50 Mbps download/ 5 Mbps upload capabilities for residential broadband customers with MidcoNet™ Ultimate and for business customers with the Advanced Package.   DOCSIS (Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) provides faster speeds for all customers by bonding or combining several channels into a single connection.
