What does the Analog-to-Digital Upgrade mean?


Midcontinent Communications will be upgrading cable channels from analog to digital delivery over the coming months. In order to continually improve the efficiency and quality of our network, these channels have been selected for delivery in digital format. These channels are still offered with your current level of service, you would just need a Digital Receiver or a CableCARD-ready Digital TV with a CableCARD, to view them. The Digital Receiver and the CableCARD* are available for lease from Midcontinent Communications. With the Digital Receiver, you will also get access to these upgraded channels plus the benefits of customer-friendly features like the i-Guide* (Interactive Programming Guide with parental controls), digital music, and Video on Demand.


*CableCARD features do not include the i-Guide or access to VOD. For some customers, a few select digital channels can be viewed without the CableCARD or Digital Receiver. For more information, contact Midcontinent Communications.
