What do I need to do for the Analog-Digital Channel Upgrades?


You will need a Digital Receiver (such as a Digital Video Recorder or “DVR”) to be able to view the digitally-delivered channels. With a Digital Receiver leased from Midcontinent Communications, you will get access to these upgraded channels plus the benefits of customer-friendly features like the i-Guide* (Interactive Programming Guide with parental controls), digital music, and Video on Demand. If you choose not to lease a Digital Receiver and you have a Digital TV that is CableCARD-ready, you may lease a CableCARD* from Midcontinent Communications which will enable you to view these channels.


*CableCARD features do not include the i-Guide or access to VOD. For some customers, a select few digital channels can be viewed without the CableCARD or Digital Receiver. For more information, contact Midcontinent Communications.
