How do I access channels that have been upgraded to digital?

You would need to connect your TV to a Digital Adapter or Digital Receiver from Midcontinent Communications to view the Basic channels that are being upgraded in 2011.

 

If you choose a Digital/HD Receiver, you will also have instant access to these digitally-delivered channels, plus features the i-Guide (Interactive Programming Guide with parental controls), digital music, and Video on Demand.

 

If you have a TV that was manufactured after 2006 and has an internal digital QAM tuner, you will be able to see these channels on that TV without additional equipment.

 

If you own a Digital TV that is CableCARD-ready, you can also view these upgraded channels by using a CableCARD* leased from Midcontinent Communications.

*CableCARD features do not include the i-Guide or access to VOD. For some customers, a few select digital channels can be viewed without the CableCARD or Digital Receiver.
