Do I need special equipment to control which channel is blocked?

No. Midcontinent will block a channel for any subscriber for FREE as part of our service to you.

 

However, you may already have the ability to block certain channels with the equipment you have. Digital subscribers have control options through their digital receiver and most newer televisions are already equipped with a V-Chip that allows the blocking of shows by TV rating. Digital Cable Subscribers: see the i-Guide for instructions. See your television manual for instructions on turning on your V-Chip channel blocking if so equipped.
