DOCSIS (pronounced “dock-sis”) stands for Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification. It defines the communications and operation support interface requirements for a data over cable system. By bonding or combining several channels into a single connection, DOCSIS 3.0 gives Midcontinent the ability to provide customers with the fastest Internet speeds available in our region.
