What is a 2-Way Digital Receiver?

A 2-way Digital Receiver is a set-top box that enables a 2-way capability; allowing  the viewer to perform an interactive task.  A 2-way Digital Receiver includes all or some features like the Interactive Programming Guide, Digital Music, On Demand options and personal settings like Parental Controls. A Digital Receiver, DVR, or HD DVR from Midcontinent will have these features and are considered "2-way."

 

Digital Adapters, QAM tuners and CableCARDS do not have 2-way capabilities.
