How do I activate/reset my Digital Adapter?

Once your devices have been connected, make sure your TV and Digital Adapter are on the same channel. For example, if your TV is set to channel 3, the Digital Adapter must also be set to channel 3. The toggle switch for channels is located on the back of the Digital Adapter.

 

Be sure your new devices have been connected for up to 15 minutes before beginning. Please make sure all of the Digital Adapters are activated and working before mounting to the TV(s). The green indicator light needs to be visible when activating. You will know it is time to click the “Activate” button below when the green light on the front panel of your Digital Adapter is quickly flashing twice.

 

To activate or reset your Digital Adapter you may call 1.800.888.1300 or login to your MyMidco account and go to My Services > Video > Manage Services.

 

Your devices will need up to 10 minutes to receive their authorization signal and begin working properly. You will know when the Digital Adapter is initialized when the light on the front panel is solid green.

 

If the light is solid green but you are still not able to view channels try changing the TV and Digital Adapter to another channel (3 or 4); you may be on an unauthorized channel. You will not need to activate again if your Digital Adapter is initialized and you change channel settings.
