Email Setup - Droid 2 w/ OS 2.3.3

1. From a Home screen, select the App menu (located in the lower right).
   
   
    
2. Select My Accounts.
   
   
    
3. Select the appropriate email account.
   
   
    
4. Select General Settings.
   
   
   
   • Account name = Midco.net
   
    
   
   • Real name = First and Last
   • Email address
5. Select Incoming Server
   
   
   
   • Select POP mail server from the drop down
   
   
   
   • Server = popa.midco.net
   • User name = full email address
   • Password
6. Select Advanced Settings
   
   
   
   • Use secure connection = unchecked
   
   
   
   • Port = 110
   • Use secure password (TLS) = Auto
   • Authentication = password
   • Verify certificate = checked
   • Select OK
7. Select Outgoing Server
   
   
   
   • SMTP = smtpa.midco.net
   
   
   
   • Username = full email address
   • Password
8. Select Advanced Settings
   
   
   
   • Port 25
   • Use secure connection = unchecked
   
   
   
   • Use secure password = Auto
   • Authentication = Auto
   • Verify Certificate = checked
   • Select OK
9. Delete messages older than:
   
   
   
   • Set to Never delete messages
   • Leave Remove manually deleted emails from server unchecked
   • Select OK
