Wireless Setup - Sony Playstation 3

1. Have your wireless network name, or SSID, and wireless network key available. Both items are available through MyMidco by signing in and clicking on the Wireless Modem Network Key icon
2. Confirm Playstation is connected to television and TV and Playstation are powered on
3. From the home menu of the Playstation 3, use the right arrow button on the Playstation 3 controller to highlight the Settings menu, which looks like a toolbox
4. Use the down arrow button to highlight Network Settings
5. Press the blue X button
6. Use the up and down arrow buttons to highlight Internet Connection and confirm it shows Enabled – if not, press the blue X button then arrow up to highlight Enabled then press the blue X button to enable it
7. Use the down arrow button to highlight Internet Connection Settings
8. Press the blue X button
9. Press the blue X button again to confirm you want to change or setup an Internet connection
10. Highlight the Easy setup option and press the blue X button
11. Use the down arrow button to highlight Wireless and press the blue X button
12. In the WLAN Settings menu, use up arrow button to highlight Scan
13. Press the blue X button
14. WLAN Settings will show available wireless networks
15. Use up and down arrows to highlight the wireless network name (SSID) you would like to join
    Tip: Take note of the security type listed (WPA2-PSK for example) as this will be asked in a following screen
16. Press the blue X button
17. Press the blue X button again to confirm the wireless network name (SSID)
18. Use up and down arrows to highlight security type mentioned previously
19. Press right arrow to continue
20. Enter the wireless network key, or password
    Tip: Press the blue X button to bring up an on-screen keyboard. Press the Start button to exit the keyboard.
21. The wireless network key will display as eight stars regardless of its actual length
22. Press the right arrow to continue
23. Skip any additional settings if prompted
24. Press the blue X button to confirm the wireless settings entered
25. Press the blue X button to begin a wireless network connection test
26. Once connected, press the Playstation button to return to the home screen
