How do I view programming on KNDX with an antenna?

Midcontinent Communications has a limited supply of over-the-air antennas that can be provided at no cost to customers impacted by KNDX/KXND retransmission consent negotiations. We will be happy to demonstrate how to attach these antennas.

 

Antennas must be used on TVs with built-in digital tuners
 

Antennas available at Bismarck, ND & Minot, ND Customer Service Centers only.
 

Antennas are not available for technician installation.

 

Installation

 

Your TV that will  be attached to the antenna needs to have a built-in digital tuner.
 

The Customer Service Center staff will provide an installation demonstration and instructions.

 

Additional support can be provided by visiting the Customer Service Center for another demonstration.

 

All other assistance should be provided by the TV manufacturer.

 

1. Connect coaxial cable to antenna
2. Connect other end of coaxial cable to coaxial input on TV
3. If coaxial input currently in use, an A/B switch will need to be used
4. Turn on TV
5. Change input selection on TV to coaxial input (TV, Tuner, etc.)
6. TV may require the coaxial input to be changed to Off-Air, Air or Antenna via the TV setup menus (use your TV manufacturer’s user manual for instructions)
7. TV may require a channel scan to begin receiving channels via the antenna (use your TV manufacturer’s user manual for instructions)
